Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope that can effectively suppress damage to a pipeline while fully exhibiting the performance of a plurality of parts having different degrees of curvature. This endoscope comprises an insertion part and a duct disposed inside the insertion part. The insertion part includes a curved part that can be bent according to the operation and a flexible tube part that can be bent by an external force unrelated to the operation. The duct includes an inner layer and an outer layer formed outside the inner layer, wherein the inner layer is formed of full-structured polytetrafluoroethylene, and the outer layer is formed of porous polytetrafluoroethylene. The porosity of the outer layer in the curved part is smaller than the porosity of the outer layer in the flexible tube part.
