Abstract:
An energy-saving multifunction arc welding power supply with no flux leakage
includes an annular main transformer (T1). The primary side of the
main transformer (T1) is a tapped winding (W1), and the secondary
side of the transformer (T1) consists of a single operating winding
(W21) and a single arc generating winding (W22). The number
of turns and the sectional area of the wires of the operating winding (W21)
are determined on the basis of welding conditions. The number of turns of the arc
generating winding (W22) is determined by no-load voltage, and the
current is determined in accordance with the power for generating arc. The operating
winding (W21) is connected to one rectifier (D1) via a reactor
(L) in series, the arc generating winding (W22) is connected to another
rectifier (D2) via an AC capacitor (C) in series, and the outputs of
both rectifiers are connected together in parallel as output terminals.
