Abstract:
A multifunctional video/audio switching system is disclosed, which includes:
a host and a line controller connected to the host electrically by a lead. Disposed
on the host are video input and output ports and a video multiswitch unit; the video
multiswitch unit is electrically connected to a Multipoint Control Unit (MCU);
the video output port is electrically and bi-directionally connected to the
MCU. Also disposed on the host are audio input and output ports and an audio multiswitch
unit; the audio multiswitch unit is also electrically connected to the MCU. On
the line controller are disposed a control microprocessor and a port to which
it is bi-directionally connected; said port is electrically connected to the
video output port of the host by a lead. The video input port also includes a set
of ports electrically connected to a camera for inputting camera video signals
over a lead. The system also includes a broadcast system comprised of a microphone
and a MCU, a broadcast controller, an audio amplifier, and output loudspeakers
all electrically connected in turn. The multifunctional video/audio system
can satisfy the varied demands of different users.
