Abstract:
A control device (100) performs a process including: a step (S100) for estimating a deposit amount of NOx in a NSR catalyst; a step (S104) for acquiring an engine speed (Ne) and a fuel injection amount (Q) when the deposit amount is larger than a threshold value S(0) (YES in S102); a step (S106) for changing to a reduction control mode; a step (S110) for executing reduction combustion control for all cylinders (11a) when an operation point of an engine (11) is in a first region (YES in S108); a step (S114) for executing reduction combustion control for half the cylinders and executing non-reduction combustion control for the remaining half when the operation point of the engine (11) is in a second region (YES in S112); and a step (S118) for executing cylinder stop control for half the cylinders and executing reduction combustion control for the remaining half when the operation point of the engine (11) is in a third region (YES in S116).
