Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an enhancer of the fertilization function of a mammal sperm, which contains a low-molecular-weight compound that can be produced in a relatively simple manner and at relatively low cost as an active ingredient; a method for enhancing the fertilization function of a mammal sperm using a low-molecular-weight compound that can be produced in a relatively simple manner and at relatively low cost; and a method for producing a mammal fertilized egg. An enhancer of the fertilization function of a mammal sperm comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of compounds respectively represented by general formula (I0), general formula (II) and general formula (III) and physiologically acceptable salts thereof in each of which R3 represents OH.
