An entrance management system of the present invention comprises: an ID acquisition unit that acquires an ID of a user read by a reading device; an image acquisition unit that acquires an image of the user imaged by an imaging device; a storage unit that stores user information in which the ID of the user, an authentication element as an element used to authenticate the user, and collation information being information used to authenticate the authentication element and showing a feature of the authentication element of the user are associated; an extraction unit that reads the authentication element associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit and extracts a part concerning the authentication element from the image acquired by the image acquisition unit; and an authentication unit that reads the collation information associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit from the storage unit and collates the collation information with the part extracted by the extraction unit. The authentication element includes at least two kinds different in amount of information on the corresponding collation information, and the authentication elements can be selected and set for the each ID in the user information.
