Abstract:

An error correction method used for a line structured light 3D camera, and an apparatus, effectively solving the point cloud distortion problem, which is caused by errors, of line structured light 3D cameras, and improving the imaging precision of line structured light 3D cameras. The method comprises the following steps: placing a three-dimensional calibration target at different positions in the field of view of a line structured light 3D camera and enabling relative movement, and scanning the three-dimensional calibration target to obtain a plurality groups of point cloud data for different positions; processing the obtained point cloud data, and performing computing to obtain angular point coordinates of the three-dimensional calibration target corresponding to each group of point cloud data; by means of taking as an error model correction parameter the inclination angle, which is generated due to an error, between a straight line in which the relative motion direction is located and a laser surface of the line structured light 3D camera, constructing an error correction model; solving parameters of the error correction model by means of a spatial vector constraint relationship between the angular points on the three-dimensional calibration target; and applying the error correction model to point cloud data of a measured object to obtain point cloud data without distortion.
