Abstract:
A lateral electrical conduction device for multiple-wire submerged-arc inside/outside welding of a straight seam steel pipe (5). The device comprises a support device (1), a floating surface contact electrical conduction device (2), a lateral electrically conductive brush device (3) and a lateral electrically conductive metal plate (4), wherein the support device (1) is configured to support the straight seam steel pipe (5); the floating surface contact electrical conduction device (2) can come into surface contact with and be electrically connected to the outer surface of the straight seam steel pipe (5); the lateral electrically conductive brush device (3) is located at one side of the support device (1), comprises a plurality of electrically conductive brushes (3-1), and is electrically connected to the floating surface contact electrical conduction device (2); the lateral electrically conductive metal plate (4) is located at one side of the lateral electrically conductive brush device (3), and is electrically connected to a negative cable of a welding machine (6); and the electrically conductive brushes (3-1) of the lateral electrically conductive brush device (3) can be electrically connected to the lateral electrically conductive metal plate (4), such that the negative cable, the lateral electrically conductive metal plate (4), the lateral electrically conductive brush device (3), the floating surface contact electrical conduction device (2), the straight seam steel pipe (5) and a welding wire electrode for performing multiple-wire submerged-arc inside/outside welding on the straight seam steel pipe form an electrically conductive loop. The device can overcome the problem of poor electromagnetic field closure caused by existing negative electrical conduction mechanisms and the problem of an unstable welding process caused by bending deformation of a steel pipe during a welding process. The present invention further relates to a lateral electrical conduction method for multiple-wire submerged-arc inside/outside welding of a straight seam steel pipe.
