Abstract:
An error processing method, apparatus and system for a device. The method performs error processing with respect to the device, which is a peripheral component interconnect express device. The method is implemented by a controller, and comprises: when a device error is detected by the controller, acquiring first device error information indicating that the device has an error. The first device error information comprises a first value of an error processing state parameter of the device, and the first value indicates that the device is in a soft reset state. After acquiring the first device error information, the controller performs a hot reset on the device, thus avoiding manual intervention such as unplugging and plugging back in or resetting a pluggable unit where the peripheral component interconnect express device is located, thereby realizing error processing of the peripheral component interconnect express device without manually resetting a computer system, and improving the error processing efficiency of the peripheral component interconnect express device.
