Abstract:
This estimation device comprises an estimation unit that inputs a time-series electrical characteristic detected by a detection unit to a learning model to estimate state information indicating the state of a transported object corresponding to the inputted time-series electrical characteristic. The learning model is trained to receive the time-series electrical characteristic as an input and to output the state information, using, as learning data: a time series electrical characteristic between a plurality of detection points, defined in advance in a flexible material of an electrically conductive auxiliary member, when a stimulus is given to the flexible material, the auxiliary member being provided to a transport unit that transports the transported object, the electrical characteristic of the flexible material changing in response to a change in the stimulus given; and state information indicating the state of the transported object with respect to the auxiliary member having the flexible material to which the stimulus is given.
