Abstract:
In this method for controlling an exercise assistance system, data is acquired that shows the vibration characteristics of a tendon of a user from a vibration characteristic measurement device (11) for measuring the vibration characteristics of the tendon of the user, and the elasticity of the tendon of the user is assessed on the basis of the data showing the vibration characteristics of the tendon of the user. Also, in the method for controlling the exercise assistance system, a profile of electrical stimulation for increasing the flexibility of the muscles of the user relating to the tendon, on the basis of the assessed elasticity of the tendon of the user, is outputted to an electrical stimulus device (15), and an electrical stimulus is applied by the electrical stimulus device (15) to the muscles of the user relating to the tendon.
