Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust diffuser which can further improve the cooling performance of exhaust gas. This exhaust diffuser is provided on the downstream side of an exhaust pipe through which exhaust gas flows, and causes the exhaust gas to mix with outside air and discharges the mixture into the atmosphere, the exhaust diffuser having: a cylindrical front stage part fixed to the exhaust pipe and including a first outside air introduction part for introducing outside air; and a plate-shaped rear stage part fixed to the front stage part and provided so as to protrude toward the downstream side of a downstream end opening of the front stage part. The rear stage part has a protrusion which protrudes toward the axial center direction of the front stage part on a surface in contact with the exhaust gas exhausted from the downstream end opening of the front stage part.
