Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust gas purification device for a wood-burning stove in which the exhaust gas purification device can prevent deformation in a turn-back portion due to thermal expansion of a holding member and can maintain a reinforcing function of an accommodation case through the turn-back portion and a slip-off prevention function of a holding member. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the exhaust gas purification device for a wood-burning stove. The exhaust gas purification device for a wood-burning stove comprises: a catalytic structure 2 through which exhaust gas can circulate; a metal catalyst 3 that is supported by the catalytic structure 2 and can react with and purify exhaust gas circulating through the catalytic structure 2; an accommodation case 4 that accommodates the catalytic structure 2 and can be attached to an exhaust gas flow channel through which the exhaust gas circulates; and a holding member 5 that comprises a sheet-shaped member formed from alumina fibers, is interposed between the catalytic structure 2 and the accommodation case 4, and holds the catalytic structure in the accommodation case 4. A turn-back portion 4b for reinforcement is formed at an opening edge portion of the accommodation case 4, and slipping off of the holding member 5 can be prevented by the turn-back portion 4b.
