A cleaning system (100) for use in an exhaust hood and the exhaust hood. The cleaning system (100) comprises: a cleaning medium supplying component (10) used for providing a cleaning medium, the cleaning medium supplying component (10) being provided with a medium outlet (101); an interior cleaning branch (20) used for cleaning the interior of the exhaust hood, an inlet of the interior cleaning branch (20) being applicable in connecting to the medium outlet (101); and an exterior cleaning branch (30) used for cleaning the exterior of the exhaust hood, an inlet of the exterior cleaning branch (30) being applicable in connecting to the medium outlet (101), a removable exterior cleaning component (31) being provided on the exterior cleaning branch (30). The interior cleaning branch (20), triggered by at least one of a mounting/removal action with respect to the exterior cleaning branch (31) and the pressure of the interior cleaning branch (20), switches between connected and disconnected states.
