Abstract:
The invention relates to an expansion joint for concrete work, particularly for the paving of concrete-based surfaces, whereby said expansion joint initially acts as a screed heater and a guide rail for standard surface vibrators. According to the invention, the expansion joint functionally combines two considerably-long shaped metal parts (1, 2) having an essentially right triangular section. The aforementioned parts (1, 2) can be interconnected in a tongue-and-groove manner at one of the lateral faces (3) thereof, corresponding to one of the catheti of the section of same, such that, together, both parts form an isosceles triangle profile which rests on the ground by means of adjustable-height supports. Moreover, the upper edge of said profile is provided with a pair of plastic strips (9) which form the above-mentioned guide for surface vibrators.
