Abstract:
An external robot stand (1), which is installed outside a machine tool, comprises a fixed unit (2) which is fixed to the machine tool so as to be in a positionally fixed state, and a movable unit (3) which is detachably attached to the fixed unit (2), wherein the fixed unit (2) is provided with a robot installation surface (8) on which a robot (200) for performing work on the machine tool is installable, the movement range of the robot (200) is arranged across both the fixed unit (2) and the movable unit (3), and safety fences (6, 7) which surround the outside of the movement range of the robot (200) with the machine tool are mounted on the fixed unit (2) and the movable unit (3), respectively, in a state in which the movable unit (3) is attached to the fixed unit (2).
