Abstract:
This wall surface traveling device comprises: a vacuum chamber that has an opening which faces a furnace wall; a drive unit that moves the vacuum chamber along the furnace wall; and an annular seal member that is disposed so as to expand outward from an edge section of the opening, wherein the seal member has a fiber sheet and an elastic layer composed of an elastomer provided to the furnace wall side of the fiber sheet.
