Abstract:
According to the present invention, an eyeglass lens that emits beams of light that have entered at an object-side surface from an eye-side surface comprises a base region that makes beams of light converge at a prescribed location A on the retina via the eye and a plurality of defocus regions that that make beams of light converge at locations B that are further from the object side than location A. The value (d1/d2) of dividing the diameter d1 of the circumscribed circle of the triangle that connects the centers of 3 nearest neighbor defocus regions by the diameter d2 of the defocus regions is greater than 2 but less than 3.
