Abstract:
This airbag attachment structure has a door portion (40) and an opening (20a), and is equipped with an attaching portion (20), hinge portions (30), and flaps (60). The door portion (40) has formed therein through-holes (45) which each penetrate from the inner side of the door portion (40) toward the outer side at an acute-angle inclination from the corresponding hinge-portion (30) side of the door portion (40) to a one-end (41) side. The flaps (60) have formed at the apical ends (61) thereof protrusions (62) that are inserted into the through-holes (45). In a state where the protrusions (62) are inserted in the through-holes (45), the flaps (60) have clearances formed between the rear surface of an instrument panel (2) and the protrusions (62), and have clearances formed between the inner side of the door portion (40) and areas of the apical ends (61) of the flaps (60) where the protrusions (62) are not formed.
