Abstract:
The invention relates to a fabric strip (100) in the form of a band, comprising: at least one textile structure (110), - at least one insert (120) which is designed to form a core of the fabric strip (100), the insert (120) being elongate along a longitudinal axis D and having a first face (121), an opposite second face (122), and lateral sides, wherein said insert (120) is positioned relative to the textile structure (110) such that the textile structure (110) forms an outer peripheral junction area (130) with no insert (120), which, viewed in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis D of the insert (120), covers and extends beyond at least one predetermined distance beyond each lateral side of the insert (120), and wherein all or part of the outer peripheral junction area (130) comprises: - at least one weld joint and – an edge cut-out which extends along all or part of the weld joint and forms an outer edge of the fabric strip (100).
