Abstract:
This failure determination device (1) determines whether or not there is a failure in a rotating body having a shaft that rotates by receiving power and a support mechanism that rotatably supports the shaft. Specifically, the failure determination device (1) comprises: a speed generator (11), a frequency calculation unit (12), and a determination unit (13). The speed generator (11) outputs a sensor signal of which a frequency changes according to the rotation speed of the shaft. The frequency calculation unit (12) calculates the frequency of a sensor signal. The determination unit (13) determines whether or not there is a failure in the rotating body from the frequency calculated by the frequency calculation unit (12).
