Abstract:
The fall sensing device and fall sensing method in this invention involve: sensing whether a person in question has fallen (first sensing result); sensing in a plurality of instances whether a body part of the person is present at or above a prescribed height threshold (second sensing results); and using the first sensing result and the second sensing results to control issuance of a notification that the person has fallen. This subject monitoring assistance system uses the fall sensing device to assists in monitoring the person in question.
