The present invention relates to an apparatus for preparing a fermented beverage and a preparation method therefor and, more particularly, to an apparatus for preparing a fermented beverage and a preparation method therefor, which enable preparation of a homemade fermented beverage even without professional knowledge or brewing equipment. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a fermented beverage preparation apparatus comprising: a keg in which an undiluted liquid is contained; an intermediate tank in which an additive component is accommodated, and an air vent is provided; an undiluted liquid flow path which connects the keg to the intermediate tank; a gas flow path which connects the keg to the intermediate tank and is provided independently of the undiluted liquid flow path; a pump provided on the undiluted liquid flow path; a gas valve provided on the gas flow path; and a PCB for controlling the operation of the pump and the gas valve for the preparation of a fermented beverage, wherein the PCB changes, through an external server, the fermentation time of a stock solution by correcting the fermentation time on the basis of a basic fermentation time.
