Abstract:
A one-pack type or multiple-pack type fiber treatment agent which contains components (A) to (C) in the whole composition thereof (provided that if the fiber treatment agent is of one-pack type, some or all of the components (A) and (B) may be in the state of a condensation product that is produced from the components (A) and (B)). (A) A compound which has a structure wherein methylol groups are respectively bonded to two nitrogen atoms in each molecule
(B) A phenolic compound which has an electron donating group in at least one of the meta positions, while having a hydrogen atom in at least one of the ortho position and the para position (provided that the electron donating group in the meta position may form a benzene ring, which may be substituted by a hydroxyl group, together with an adjacent carbon atom)
(C) Water
