Abstract:

　Provided are a fiberboard of low density and light weight, having strength sufficient to withstand actual use and excelling in terms of productivity; and a method for producing the same. This fiberboard 1 is provided with an intermediate layer 5 in which hemp lignin portions 4 are oriented in a single direction, between a front surface layer 2 and a back surface layer 3 shaped from a mixture of natural fibers or chemical fibers and an adhesive.
