Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a film with which a capacitor with excellent protecting function operability can be obtained, and which has a high dielectric breakdown strength at high temperatures and good element windability. The problem is solved by a film containing a syndiotactic polystyrene resin and a polyphenylene ether resin. The content of the syndiotactic polystyrene resin in the film is 50 mass% or more. The content of the polyphenylene ether resin in the film is 10 mass% or more. Also, (A) the film contains titanium oxide particles as inorganic particles and the content of the titanium oxide particles in the film is 0.55 to 3 mass% and/or (B) a protruding peak height Spk of at least one surface is 0.05 to 0.30 μm.
