Abstract:
Provided is a filter device which can suppress spuriousness. A filter device 10 is provided with first and second elastic wave resonators. The first and second elastic wave resonators each have: a support member; a piezoelectric layer 17 having an X axis, a Y axis, and a Z axis that are crystal axes and comprising Y-cut lithium niobate; and an IDT electrode. The IDT electrode has a plurality of first and second electrode fingers. When the thickness of the piezoelectric layer 17 is defined as d, and the distance between the centers of adjacent first and second electrode fingers is defined as p, d/p is 0.5 or less. When a virtual line connecting the tips of the plurality of first electrode fingers is defined as an envelope, if the angle degree that is of an angle formed by the extending direction of the envelope and the direction of the X axis in the first elastic wave resonator and that is other than 0° is defined as a first slant angle α1 and the angle degree that is of an angle formed by the extending direction of the envelope and the direction of the X axis in the second elastic wave resonator and that is other than 0° is defined as a second slant angle α2, the absolute value of the first slant angle α1 and the absolute value of the second slant angle α2 are different from each other.
