Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing filter media and filter media manufactured thereby, the method comprising the steps of: forming a hydroxyl group on the surface of fibrous filter media by exposing the fibrous filter media to a plasma; preparing a mixed solution comprising a fluorosilane-based compound, an epoxy polymer and functional nanoparticles; and forming a super water-repellent layer by applying the mixed solution to the fibrous filter media.
