Abstract:
The fin manufacturing apparatus is provided with an inter-row slit-forming device (37) for forming perforation slits between rows on a fin by engaging an upper blade (41) with a lower blade (51), the tool edges of which extend in the direction in which a thin metal sheet is fed. In the upper blade (41), a portion of the longitudinal direction of the tool edge (41a) has an indentation (41c) that is indented toward the back of the blade (41b). In the lower blade (51), a portion of the longitudinal direction of the tool edge (51a) has an indentation (51c) that is indented toward the back of the blade (51b). The indentation (41c) and the indentation (51c) of the upper and lower blades are formed so as to be smaller than the overlap (Ds) during perforation in which the upper blade (41) is engaged with the lower blade (51). The inter-row slit-forming device (37) changes the size of the overlap of the indentation (41c) with the indentation (51c) in the longitudinal direction of the tool edges by making the lower blade (51) slidable in the longitudinal direction of the tool edge (51a).
