Abstract:
Disclosed is a fine helical structure characterized by being provided with a surface-modification layer formed on a phytoplankton having a helical shape which is selected from among blue algae called spirulina. Therein, said surface-modification layer comprises at least one metal-plating layer and, therefore, the fine helical structure is applicable to an electric wave-shielding or absorbing material. Also disclosed is a method for producing the fine helical structure characterized in that steps prior to the step for forming the surface-modification layer on the phytoplankton having a helical shape involve an organic solvent-washing step for removing the outer membrane on the surface of the phytoplankton.
