Abstract:
A fingerprint recognition apparatus and method, and a terminal device; the fingerprint recognition apparatus comprises an optical sensor which comprises a pixel array, the pixel array comprising a plurality of a first type of pixel points and at least one second type of pixel point, the plurality of the first type of pixel points and the at least one second type of pixel point being used for receiving optical signals from an object; and a color filter layer or a polarizer, which is configured above the at least one second type of pixel point, wherein the strength of the optical signal received by the at least one second type of pixel point and the strength of the optical signal received by at least one first type of pixel point adjacent thereto are used to determine whether the object is a real finger.
