Abstract:
A non-single-valued NFST can be determined without pretreatment. Provided are a state merging unit which extracts, from among states of the finite state transducer, a plurality of states which transit in response to a same input signal, and merges the states; and a signal determination unit wherein an identification signal corresponding to each transition from each of the plurality of pre-merged states to the next state is applied as an input signal to the next state to perform the determination; wherein the identification signal is different from an input signal assigned to the transition of the finite state transducer.
