Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a visual fire monitor system having a variable-viewing-angle binocular structure, and an operating method. The system comprises a fire monitor, wherein a fire monitor angle adjustment mechanism for checking and adjusting a horizontal angle and a pitch angle of the fire monitor is disposed at the bottom of the fire monitor. The system further comprises: a variable-viewing-angle binocular visual system, which is disposed at the rear of the fire monitor, and is used for identifying an image of a scene of a fire at the current viewing angle and for sending a signal to a controller. The controller calculates the coordinates of the fire monitor after the rotation of the variable-viewing-angle binocular visual system, so as to calculate the spatial location of the scene of the fire relative to the fire monitor, and a horizontal angle and a pitch rotation angle required for the fire monitor to be aimed at the scene of the fire. The controller sends an instruction to control the fire monitor to rotate, and the fire monitor sprays a fire extinguishing agent. By means of the present invention, the problem of it being difficult to identify and locate a scene of a fire outside a field of view due to an existing intelligent fire monitor based on binocular vision positioning having a single viewing angle is solved.
