Abstract:
[Problem] To improve fire determination accuracy by efficiently training a multilevel neural network using fire input information or non-fire images matching an area being monitored. [Solution] An image of a monitored area 14 captured by a monitoring camera 16 is input to a multilevel neural network of a determination device 10 in order to determine whether the image indicates an outbreak of fire or a non-fire state, and when an outbreak of fire is determined, a fire alarm is issued from a receiver 12. Video of the monitored area 14 captured by the monitoring camera is recorded on a recording device of the determination device 10. When a fire affirmation operation is performed on the receiver 12, a learning control unit of the determination device 10 reads the recorded image captured at that time from the recording device and inputs the image as a fire image to the multilevel neural network for the purpose of learning by means of backpropagation. When a restoration operation is performed on the receiver 12 instead of a fire affirmation operation, the image is input as a non-fire image to the multilevel neural network for the purpose of learning.
