Abstract:
A flat cable 10 according to the present invention comprises, on one or both ends thereof, a connector 11 in which is formed a connector conductor 15 that is electrically connectable to a ground layer of an electronic circuit board. Signal conductors 12, 13 are covered by a protective shielding layer 20 comprising a metal layer on the inside and an insulating plastic layer on the outside. The metal layer of the protective shielding layer is electrically connected to the connector conductor 15 of the connector, and a portion 17a of the metal layer of the protective shielding layer is exposed to the exterior of the protective shielding layer 20 and functions as a ground layer.
