Abstract:
A flat control cable for an elevator is provided with: a plurality of wire assemblies, each wire assembly being an assembly of a plurality of insulation-coated conducting wires (26); a sheath (22) for collectively coating the wire assemblies; and a plurality of reinforcing wires (23) for supporting the load of the wire assemblies and sheaths (22). A reinforcing wire (23) is disposed at the center of two or more wire assemblies.
