Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and provide a flow control method and apparatus, capable of avoiding a problem of packet loss caused by link congestion or deterioration. The method comprises: a first IAB node receives first information from a second IAB node, the first information being used for indicating cache states of uplink data respectively corresponding to N BAP routing identifiers on the second IAB node, and/or cache states of uplink data respectively corresponding to M RLC CHs between the second IAB node and the first IAB node, wherein the first IAB node is a sub-node of the second IAB node, and N and M are integers greater than or equal to 1; and the first IAB node performs uplink flow control according to the first information. The embodiments of the present application are applied to an IAB network.
