Abstract:
A novel organometallic compound which has antifouling ability and can be used to formulate a coating composition giving a coating film which in an early stage comes to have an antifouling effect; and an oligomer or cooligomer thereof. The organometallic compound has at least one C¿4? alkoxyl group having six fluorine atoms. An antifouling agent and a coating composition each comprising the organometallic compound or the (co)oligomer are also provided.
