Abstract:
Disclosed is a fluororubber composition containing (A) 100 parts by weight of a peroxide-crosslinkable fluororubber, (B) 1 to 15 parts by weight of ZnO, (C) at least one of a basic metal hydroxide and a metal oxide other than ZnO at a weight ratio of 0.5 or more to the weight ZnO, and (D) 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of an organic peroxide. This peroxide-crosslinkable fluororubber composition effectively prevents material degradation seen in BDF while maintaining good compression set resistance properties due to the blending of ZnO seen in a conventional peroxide-crosslinkable fluororubber when being used in contact with biodiesel fuel, and therefore is favorably used as a vulcanization molding material for a seal material or the like.
