Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a flying object and communication system with which, by using an antenna capable of receiving information transmitted from a transmission antenna having a range wider than an antenna for linearly directed use, it is possible to relay communication between the transmission antenna and a reception antenna, which are at distant positions. [Solution] The flying object 1 according to the present invention comprises one or more linear array antennae (antenna 4) and a controller 2. The controller 2 is able to perform a relay process which includes: a process in which the at least one antenna 4 receives information transmitted by a transmission antenna T1; and a process in which the at least one antenna 4 transmits said information to a reception antenna R1. In a communication system C according to the present invention which includes the flying object 1, the transmission antenna T1 and the reception antenna R1 are different. Moreover, in the flying object 1 according to the present invention, the antenna 4 that receives the information and the antenna 4 that transmits the information are preferably different.
