Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a foldable electronic device for providing event-related information, and an operating method therefor. The electronic device comprises: a connecting unit; a first housing including a first surface facing a first direction, and a third surface facing a second direction that is opposite the first direction; a second housing which includes a second surface facing the first direction and a fourth surface facing the second direction opposite to the first direction, and which is folded with the first housing around the connecting unit; a first display shown through the fourth surface; a second display extending from the first surface to the second surface; at least one sensor circuit for sensing an angle formed by the first housing and the second housing; and a processor operably connected to the first display, the second display, and the sensor circuit, wherein: the processor performs control so that at least one piece of first abstract information about at least one event is displayed on the first display if the angle sensed through the sensor circuit is a first angle corresponding to a designated first range, and performs control so that at least one piece of second abstract information about the at least one event is displayed in a partial area of the second display if the angle sensed through the sensor circuit is changed from the first angle to a second angle corresponding to a designated second range; and the partial area of the second display can be at least a part of an area corresponding to the first surface from among the entire area of the second display. Other embodiments are also possible.
