Abstract:
Provided is a foldable electronic device, comprising: a foldable screen, wherein the foldable screen is composed of a plurality of layers of materials; and a first housing and a second housing, wherein the first housing and the second housing are connected by means of a folding shaft, and the first housing and the second housing are provided with a drawing mechanism. The outermost layer of the foldable screen is fixedly connected to the first housing and the second housing, and the innermost layer of the foldable screen is fixedly connected to the drawing mechanism; and the drawing mechanism slides on the first housing and the second housing in a first direction, and the drawing mechanism is used for pulling the layers of the foldable screen to move in a mutually staggered manner, with the first direction being a direction perpendicular to the folding shaft. According to the foldable electronic device provided in the present application, when the foldable screen of the electronic device is folded, the drawing mechanism arranged on the housings actively pulls the innermost layer of the foldable screen to slide in a folding direction so as to assist the foldable screen in creating a staggered movement between the layers of the screen during folding, thereby preventing the problems of a screen arching, etc.
