Description:
DESCRIPTION

A FOLD ABLE INTERFACE

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a foldable interface for opening and closing mouth of a carrying device during shopping.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Shopping trolleys and shopping baskets are used as carrying device during shopping and materials such as shopping bags, sacks, nets are used in order to carry these products after the shopping. Shopping baskets used during shopping do not provide an ergonomic structure for the user because of their fixed forms. Also, due to the fact that they have a self-weight, they impose an extra burden apart from the product put into the basket by the user to purchase. In addition to these, the fact that the baskets cannot be cleaned during their utilization by different users causes them to be unhygienic in case of pouring of fluid products. Another disadvantage of the embodiments in the state of the art is that they cannot enable to categorize the purchased products during shopping. Shopping carriage devices do not have fixed forms and an undefined area, which is narrow and wherein it is difficult to place the product, occurs when their mouth parts are opened. The fact that one hand of the user is full with the product that s/has taken from the section and the other one is full with the current carriage device makes it quite difficult to scan the product to the carriage device and place it. In this case, the carriage device is put down and it's mouth is opened on the ground. When the product is placed, the carriage device is picked up again and the shopping continues. This process goes on for every product purchase and it becomes more difficult as the bag weight increases. Although the time lost at every product purchase seems short, it becomes evident that the loss of time is unacceptably long when a calculation is made by considering the number of products per person. On the other hand, the process is quite difficult and non- ergonomic for the user.

The fact that the said shopping means or carrying devices remain open continuously is also another undesired situation. In open position, products inside carrying devices are unprotected against an external intervention or stealing. Although various covered systems have been developed for protecting products, these structures don't come out as practical solutions during use.

Integrating the said carrying devices to the units which are designed in order that the mouth parts of the carrying devices remain open, is another known problem. The carrying devices must be inserted to the apparatus body in order that the carrying device is integrated to the said apparatus.

The prior art and the documents described below are compared in the research conducted.

The United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office document numbered GB2426490 (A) discloses a trolley for supporting bags used for kitchen or garden wastes. The said trolley comprises a rim such that it will keep the mouth of the plastic bag open and clips in order to fix the plastic bag on the said rim. The German Patent and Trademark Office document numbered DE20221113 (Ul) discloses a device for keeping a refuse bag open. The said device comprises a retaining member containing two rims placed on a chassis and at least one aperture being connected with the said rims. The refuse bag is placed to the said retaining member and it is carried in an open position.

The European Patent Office document numbered EP0899179 (Al) discloses a bag/cloth structure which can be adapted to be used at shopping trolleys or baskets. The said bag is fixed to the basket or the shopping trolley by means of a rod placed to two end parts thereof.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office document numbered US5531366 (A) discloses reusable shopping bags and shopping bag assemblies for shopping baskets. The said shopping bag comprises bars connected to its both ends. The bars are placed to a shopping basket by means of hangers located at their ends. In this position, the said bag remains open. The United States Patent and Trademark Office document numbered US8905411B1 discloses a reusable shopping bag and shopping cart system. The said assembly comprises a reusable bag which is provided with two arms arranged reciprocally with each other and extensions for hanging the said arms on thereof. Consequently, all problems mentioned above have made it obligatory to make an innovation in the related art.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a foldable interface for opening and closing mouth of a carrying device during shopping. The interface consists of a body which is composed of a pair of part that are connected to each other by means of a connection member and can rotate in the axis of this connection member, and a handle; the said technical benefits are provided by the motion of the body parts. Security and ergonomy are ensured by closing the mouth part of the carrying device when the body parts are switched to closed position and it is enabled to easily place product into the carrying device when they are switched to open position.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the inventive foldable interface (1) is described by means of examples, which will not compose any limiting, only in order that the subject matter is understood better.

The subject matter of the invention relates to an interface (1) which enables to integrate and open/close the mouth parts of the carrying device easily.

With the purpose of ensuring that the subject matter of the invention is understood better, a structure which is in the form of a bag with at least two apertures for carriage is mentioned as carrying device in the description. Isometric view is given when the invention is in open position in the Figure 1 and when it is in closed position in the Figure 2. The inventive interface (1) distinctively comprises:

a pair of body part (10) which are connected to each other by means of at least one pair of connection member (11) and can rotate in the axis of the said connection members (11);

hanger units (20) which have a form whereby the carrying device can be integrated and

a handle (30).

The main purpose of the body parts (10) is to keep the mouth of the carrying device open in a formed way when it is in open position and to keep it closed when it is in closed position. The hanger unit (20) may be any structure wherein the said carrying device can be hanged and which will prevent the carrying device from sliding over the foldable interface (1) during the carriage. The hanger unit (20) can be positioned on the body parts (10) and it can also be located on the handle (30). The handle (30) enables the user to carry the foldable interface (1) comfortably.

In another embodiment of the invention, the handle (30) consists of a pair of handle parts (31) each of which are connected to a body part (10). Movements of the handle parts (31) depend on the body parts (10) whereto they are connected.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the Figures 4-6. When the handle parts (31) are moved in the direction of the arrows in the Figure 4, they close the mouth of the carrying device which is integrated to the body parts (10) by means of the hanger units (20). When the handle parts (31) are moved in the direction of the arrows in the Figure 5, the foldable interface (1) opens the mouth of the carrying device which is integrated to the body parts (10) by means of the hanger units (20). As it has been mentioned before, the body parts (10) are connected to each other by means of a connection member (11) and they rotate in the axis of the connection member (11). When the handle parts (31) are rotated such that they will be separated from each other, the body parts (10) reaches a position whereby they can be inserted into the mouth part easily. In this position, the carrying device can be integrated to the hanger unit (20) easily. When the said handle parts (31) are moved in the opposite direction, the body parts (10) opens the mouth of the carrying devices by taking a full frame form.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the Figure 7. The body parts (10) and the handle parts (31) are in an integrated structure with each other.
