Abstract:
This forest management system is implemented as software on a computer, and comprises a forest database held in a storage device, an interface for enabling communication with one or a plurality of user terminals via a network, and an access management unit. The forest database holds at least tree information, user information identifying a user associated with the tree information, and access right information that defines a right to access added-value information on the basis of a condition set for the user. Upon receipt of an access request from a user terminal, the access management unit checks the user who has issued the access request against the user information in the forest database, and assigns an access right that is in accordance with the corresponding access right information to the user. With this configuration, the present invention can implement a forest management system enabling a forest business to provide a high added value for enhanced revenue generation.
