Abstract:
Provided is a method for forming a food product in which a rod-shaped food or a thin-piece-shaped outer skin material after an inclusion material is disposed on the top surface of the outer skin material is inserted downward from a supply device through a shutter device, which includes a plurality of openable/closable shutter pieces and can freely move vertically, onto a support member, which can freely move vertically, and is supported from the lower side, and by closing the plurality of shutter pieces, the rod-shaped food is cut or the rim of the outer skin material is sealed above the inclusion material, wherein an uppermost rising position of the support member is calculated on the basis of a target weight of the food and the thickness of the shutter piece, and a vertical movement locus of the support member is determined.
