Abstract:
The present invention provides a fourth-order feed-forward compensated operational amplifier and a design method therefor. A gain and three zero points of a transfer function would be easily obtained on the basis of a structural design that "a fourth-order operational amplifier path is taken as a main part and a lower order in two adjacent operational amplifier paths performs feed-forward compensation on a higher order in succession"; only a feed-forward branch is provided, no feedback branch exists; four poles can be obtained according to node parameters; and the transfer function of the fourth-order feed-forward compensated operational amplifier can be obtained according to the obtained direct current gain, the three zero points, and the four poles, that is, the transfer function can be easily obtained on the basis of the circuit structural design. On the basis of the obtained transfer function and a gain requirement of a continuous time band-pass sigma-delta modulator, transconductance constraint relationships among transconductance amplification units can be deduced, and the transconductance amplification units are selectively designed according to the corresponding transconductance constraint relationships, such that the formed fourth-order feed-forward compensated operational amplifier can effectively meet a use requirement of the continuous time band-pass sigma-delta modulator.
