Abstract:
The present invention is a freezer comprising a thermally-insulated body (1) and an ice making unit (10) that is provided in the body (1) and that has an ice tray (12) that with a plurality of cavities (14), and a valve (6) that is selectively fluidly connected to the ice tray (12) so as to allow water to be delivered to the cavities (14) in a predetermined amount (ml ) corresponding to a selected ice size (v1). The freezer comprises a control unit (20) that is configured to count a freezing time (t1) corresponding to the amount of water (ml ) delivered to the ice tray (12) and a discharge means (30) that discharges the ice formed in the ice tray (12) into a storage container (34) after being activated with an end signal received from the control unit (20) at the end of the freezing time (t1).
