Abstract:
A frequency band range reporting method and a communication apparatus. A terminal device reports a frequency band range actually supported thereby to a network device, such that the network device may solve, by configuring a suitable BWP, the problem that a terminal cannot access a network or cannot be used. The solution is especially important for the problem that frequency band misalignment occurs during the roaming of a 5G terminal, and during the roaming of the 5G terminal, the solution can adapt to the diversity of frequency band ranges that may occur in a local network, such that even if frequency band ranges are not aligned, a terminal can also normally access a network and can be used.
