Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a frequency hopping transmission indication method and system, and a base station, a user terminal and a storage medium. The frequency hopping transmission indication method comprises: a base station scheduling a user terminal to perform retransmission of a third message Msg3 during a random access process, and indicating, to the user terminal, a frequency hopping manner for Msg3 transmission, such that the user terminal performs corresponding frequency hopping transmission according to the indication of the base station. By means of the present disclosure, indication of intra-slot frequency hopping and inter-slot frequency hopping can be realized without increasing RAR UL grant overheads, thereby obtaining a desired frequency-domain diversity gain, and enhancing the coverage performance of Msg3.
