Abstract:
The present invention provides a friction reduction plate coupling-type escalator footplate including a step body which has first fitting coupling parts provided on opposite side surfaces thereof, respectively, in order to allow friction reduction plates to be fitted and coupled thereto. According to the present invention, a friction reduction plate is installed independently. Therefore, even though the friction reduction plate is in contact with a side wall body of which the side surface part does not maintain a straight line, the friction force therebetween is reduced, so that a moving operation of an escalator footplate can be made smooth, and noise generation is reduced to improve the use environment thereof.
